I am going to have to get my gears indexed the first KOM on the last lap I changed gear and it shifted to about 3 gears lower and I was spinning like billy wizz but going nowhere 😆🚴‍♂️😂

Great ride from all in c.

My average w/kg was relatively very low, sucked a lot of wheel after the first lap.

Definitely picked up some sprint points for the first two sprints (I think I won the second one?) and momentum carried me up the first climb then dropped to Carl's group. It was kind of the perfect situation to recover as we were making time on the group behind, were due to pick up some points regardless of where we landed and Chris was up ahead so had a good excuse not to pull!

It was quite nice wasn't it, sitting in knowing that we didn't need to pull Certainly kept my legs fresh enough for the final climbs too

I think my bike choice didn't help ... it felt like I was having to push more watts than normal to stay in the draft I'm going back to Tron next week!

The tron bike is nice but I find I am working hard all the time because you never know when your in the draft

Quick glance at the sprint times has Michael 3rd in the first sprint ,1st in the 2nd sprint and me 4th in the second sprint😀

Wow that was tough but my best ride for a while.

Really wasn't looking forward to this evening's race, as I'd been pretty dismal on the equivalent stage in TdZ, but tonight was the opposite. Got my traditional slow start and had to chase back on again, but I managed to stay quite well to the front and must have missed the sticky draft that Carl, Michael and Chris got caught in.

Thought I'd blow on the 3 bumps as that's what did for me in TdZ, but tonight I seemed to power up them........ well until the last lap where I was hanging on for grim death on the Governor Street climb.

Currently showing 14th on ZP. 18th, 21st and 23rd for Carl, Michael and Chris should get us some points tonight.

Where can you see the sprint points?

I could see you just ahead on that final climb. I'd broke away with 3 others, but I could see you ahead so I was trying to just sit on their wheels and not do any pulling - not that I had much left in the legs anyway. I tried to sprint to the finish but got pipped by 2 of them, and I just beat one of them. Annoyingly, the 2 that beat me are both on ZP, but the guy I beat isn't

The tron bike is nice but I find I am working hard all the time because you never know when your in the draft

I'm sure the Cervelo S3 is faster and it's not that expensive from the drop shop. Tron is so over rated.

I liked your attack on the lower slopes of the 1st hill on the last lap. I thought, nice, Chris is going to pace me. Then you stopped dead and I shot past ... I'm guessing that's when your gears dropped

I think I set PBs on all 3 climbs on that last lap ... which was nice

1:12:10 for me

I got dropped pretty early from the front group and then stuck with the second group until the end. That’s a long distance for a race for me. And I think being aware I hadn’t raced in over a month made me a bit cautious at the start rather than trying to surge on. Maybe it was for the best being cautious because I felt ok at the end. No chance of a sprint though. I was Just happy to stick with my group across the finish line.

You got it in one , peddling like mad and going no where , and every time I change gear it was doing 2 cogs at a time ,think a strip down and new cable in order😀

Nightmare! Wasn't sure what had happened to you at the time as I was expecting you and Carl to shoot away to the horizon, I thought your connection had gone or something but that's even more annoying. Still a great ride though!

Just noticing the winner soloing to victory 3 mins ahead of the pack with a 4.3w/kg 20 min power and weight of 40kg

Edit; I think they may be a (v talented) child so the weight is probably true.
