That’s where I tried to sort it but it would only connect to one device and not two (it works for Zwift).
Do you have a both on your pc, bluetooth in active and ant+ dongle connected?. If it is then disable bluetooth or remove ant+ dongle. I keep bluetooth off on my laptop and using only ant+. I have TICKRx.

This morning was the re-scheduled "Chilly Duathlon" at Castle Combe - and against all the odds (and thanks to a last minute football match cancellation - thanks Oxford United ^_^) I made it there! Sorry for the long post but for anyone who's interested here's how it went:

It was snowing as I left home which was a bit worrying, but the skies cleared for the race itself and it was cold and breezy but clear sunny skies.

I got there an hour and a half in advance but wow did that time go quick! Lots of faffing about with numbers, timer chip, bike and stuff to put in transition, massive clothing indecision etc etc. I was a bit too cautious and polite at the start, and should have made an effort to get further towards the front, because I got caught behind a lot of slower runners when the first run started as it was a bit congested and I was mostly passing people (eventually) on the run - but obviously the really fast guys were dots on the horizon!

Transition 1 went surprisingly smoothly and the bike leg was great fun - time to make up some positions and time! It's a mostly flat circuit but there was a strong breeze meaning my speed went from around 30mph with the tailwind, to 17mph in the headwind section. I mostly passed people on the bike - apart from two of the leaders on full-on triathlon bikes who were flying, and who were starting their final run leg while I still had my final bike lap to go.

Transition 2 also went smoothly - but holy hell running after the bike leg was horrendous! I've read about this and I tried to replicate it a couple of times in training but it was way worse in the race - legs like jelly that didn't really work at all! As it turned out my second run leg was only 27 seconds slower than the first which I was pleasantly surprised with considering it felt WAY slower! I also got passed by a fair few runners in that final leg - not surprising that my strength was in the bike leg really as I only started running regularly about 4 months ago.

Final results - I came 30th overall, 27th in Men and 10th in the Vet age category (which I think is 40-50). My overall time 54:07 and looking at the results, I've got 2 years to knock 4 minutes off my time and then I can challenge for the win in the Supervet 50-60 yrs old category :okay:

Really enjoyed it (well apart from some of that second run) and would definitely like to do it again when its run in November to see if I can improve at all.

Amazing, well done! Yeah "brick sessions" never really get you used to going from race pace on the bike to Race pace on the run but sounds like you smashed it!

Well done Paul must be well happy with results - talking yourself into a tri bike ?
Sounds like you will be able to grab time in some places
Why did he post that picture of your back yard?

Join the club! Not surprising I guess based on what we spend most of our free time doing! Would be great to see you at the November event Martin. The first 2 mile run is fine by the way, its the second one you have to watch out for!

Well done Paul. Sounds like a tough day. I’ve just started running again in the last few weeks and have to say I’m hating every minute of it

How often you lads wash and clean drivetrain when you have a indoor season?. Yesterday i removed my bike from the trainer and jesus that amount of dry dirt and grease on jockey wheels and chains. Today is time to clean chain and all dirty parts, should do that once in a month at least.
