Did a Crit City race yesterday as a D cat and managed 25th on the road, 6th on zpower. The first group on the road was putting out a lot of watts. Averaged exactly 2.5w/kg...a bit less than all those ahead of me. Quite fun really.

Climbed the Alpe today for the 2nd time and got the wheels in the spinner at the top....nicely happy!

Can't recall if you have a smart tariner/power meter but if you do why not join the D cat race of the Danish league on Tuesday? I bet you and @Joffey could do well and podium 🤞

@Del C , @Brendan Parker @Freelanderuk if we all end up in a group on the last lap today, i'm happy playing domestique and attacking to see if I can wear the others down. This does assume I have the legs, and we're together, but I'm looking to do it over the top of the LegSnapper on the descent and then flat bit. I figure others may be resting on the descent ready for the flat and sprint finish. If you do see me go off the front, sit in the wheels of any chasers - I won't have the legs to go all the way, but I may also take out another rider or 2 too if they burn too much energy chasing

This assumes I can get my shoe on and join the ride, of course

Will try my best. Off to look at picture frames with the wife:angel: should’ve be back by 4.

2 ton of logs put in the store and now in my gear for the ride🚴‍♂️

I had a moment of poor judgement and entered a flat race this afternoon. Took me 90 minutes to come 33/38 on Zwiftpower in Cat C

But it was good to be back on the bike - I've had a back/neck problem which has stopped me riding as much as usual for the last couple of weeks. Have been into the chiropractor and going again next week. I need to be starting the "time crunched" training program ASAP so hopefully it won't set me back too much...

I just finished Ride On With Type 1 Social ride. We ride Classique route on London and end of every lap there was a sprint segment where leader give free hand to let all hell breaks loose , you should be there too done some sprint practice. Rest of a ride was more or less calm down and save some energy for next attempt.

Flippin 'eck, that hurt! Great ride @Del C and @Freelanderuk

Can't walk at the moment, but I got a 🥉 which I'm quite pleased with 🤞 Once that big group swamped us there was no way to break free - even going over the Leg Snapper first with 2 others made no difference as 3 against 20 odd on a descent is never going to be a win for the 3  A good practice run though for Tuesday and we know what to expect and where the hurt is going to be :B)

Looks like a great effort from all of you- bodes well for tuesday. Interesting that the winner was over 100kg; how long did the legsnapper take roughly each time?

Considering your gout problem that was a great ride!

I came in 5th on Zwiftpower and we both given the same time.

I certainly know where the hurt is going to be. 3 times I had to chase the group back after the leg snapper. Got back on each time, but even though I got a PB on the climb each time i was 1 to 2 seconds behind the leaders.

It's ridiculous. I checked the distance from Horley to Mere a moment ago. We're about 113 miles apart but somehow racing with someone you know makes it so much more enjoyable!
