I think you won that @Joffey. I think I caught everyone who started ahead of me apart from you (but I may have missed someone). Well done - I think we need to adjust your handicap for next time :okay:

I felt a lot better today than on Tuesday. My segment time was over 2.5 mins quicker too, but it's difficult to compare between the TT and non-TT efforts.

Well done all.

You got my one minute handicap about right Paul👍. Spent first half in no mans land so thought I’d ride at lower end of threshold until Paul , Tommy and Lars came bearing down on me and I had to dig in to keep up. Good riding everyone , enjoyed that .

Sorry @Del C, I done my beans trying to catch you at the start and blew up with 4-5 to go. @Whorty got any of them painkillers spare
At least I got a PB tonight on my HR 172 -174:eek:
No worries.

Hard to get the drafting right tonight between us. Your power readings were swinging about a bit. Sometimes I was riding about 3.2W/kg and you were riding about 1.7W/kg and pulling away from me, then suddenly your reading moved to about 3.2W/kg as well.

I nearly lost some teeth, all that peddling backwards unscrewed a peddle and when I set of it ripped out of the threads and I hit my head on the bars ( which was a little painful) a quick rummage in the toolbox draw found a Allen key and had a job getting the peddle back on due to damaged threads, never mind , I completed the course

Well done all
What's the issue Chris - are you unable to get to the pairing screen at all on apple TV?

Yes, I agree, I need some time off!

Yer a few times I’d try to latch onto someone’s wheel then they would slow I’d then get caught in the sticky stuff. I find it easier on TT as you can keep a steady power. All tactics I suppose.
well done all :okay:

I think you have to exit the ride to get to the pairing screen and I was frightened of exiting the meet , will have to have a play around tomorrow when I ride because if this becomes a regular event I don’t want that to happen again
I think @<Tommy> is on apple tv as well - Tommy did you manage to warm up in the pairing screen ok and if so can you help Chris?

Well all in all I think that was a good little experiment and worth trying again some time. Ultimately all worth it for Andy's reaction to winning on Tuesday ^_^

Next up, Tour De Zwift league table

No idea what happened at the start ... I think my diazepam are playing up with my mind! I was due to leave at 18:33, so at 17:45 I came out of the 'pairing' screen and I was waiting for @Del C to leave then I was going to leave 3 seconds after. What I didn't know was Del had already gone .... this I noticed once Brendan set off. By the time I reacted to that I think @bobinski had started too, so he shot past me in the first few hundred metres :banghead: Thankfully, Bob is a decent fella and let me ride with him for a bit :okay:

Despite my stop watch cock up, I think the times were pretty good as I only just beat @<Tommy> ..... as I was approaching Admiralty Arch Tommy was 11 seconds behind me and closing fast .... I think I just held on. @peterob passed me as I reached Lambeth Bridge so I assume finished well ahead of me.

I could see Lars, Paul and Lee closing fast too.

Legs a little tired now

Carl, tried to drag you so we could work together for a bit but you obviously not recovered so chases Brendan and del , Pete catching me just before I got to them. He and I pulled away on the climb but I ran out of puff 8km from the end. Disappointed not to finish but a few gear problems made it easy to jump off.
Well done all. Especially whoever won👍
Sorry Bob ... I'm nowhere near strong enough to stay with you. On flats I'm at my limit at 230 watts / 3.2 w/kg and can't hold that for too long. I did eventually catch Del and Brendan but Pete was well gone by then :okay:
