Tonights ride on the sprint section i could see the end but it was no arch for the start so didnt really know where it started
On the mobile link whats the orange button on the bottom for looks like a stop button
Road feel on or off
For the sprints it will be a white line on the road or the clock for your time will start, just ride the courses too see where the sprints starts then hit them hard.
The orange button is a stop button that will end the ride i think but you need to keep your finger on it.
The arch is the end of the sprint

Power improvements for me in Zwift since I last used it in May. Could of course be Zwift being kind to me last night but if not that's 45+ (25%) watts improvement which is in line with the improvements I've seen in Bkool. Clearly my real life/non-turbo power isn't as strong as many of you but I am definitely going in the right direction :okay:

That's a real nice improvement. It's a little hard to judge as the ride time is significantly different -- but I've recently read that you should expect a 5% drop in watts as the time doubles. So if we plug that in you should be expected to lose 10-15 watts off your most recent effort to compare it to the long effort you did a while back. Which still gives you a massive improvement.

I'm not racing much this week, but should be back in the mix of things next Tues/Thu for the KISS EUR. Why don't you join us. Pick up the zsun kit (bobinski knows the magic code to get it) and add cyclechat to your name to join the virtual team.

Well done whorty i just had another bash on zwift still not to sure what im doing
There's a good guide that someone mentioned in reply to your message. Definitely worth the read. zwiftblog also has a variety of useful tips. Figure you'll have the basics after a handful of rides.

I did see a ride-on from you while working out today, well I was guessing it was you...

Abandoned ftp test today. Just couldn't get lungs to work, legs felt pretty good. Probably to be expected having nearly a month of steadier rides. VO2 max rides required. From what I could gauge before giving up power is about same at the start of year.

Anyone about tonight in the Kiss Europe ride @ 8 o'clock. I'm still in Cat D although it wont be long as I finished at 2.40 w'kg last week. I finished behind about 3/4 riders in CAT D but when I looked up the results they were disqualified for the wrong category, which left me with a gold cup...

I ride Zwift under my real name C.de Gregorio, whats everybody else's zwift name

Opinion please - should I have a go in the C Cat group, stay tucked into the group and see if I can hold a wheel for the ride.

According to ZP we're doing 4 laps of Watopia Hilly. So you have to figure the climbing will play a significant role. It's certainly painful and demoralizing to lose the group on the climb and not be able to latch on and suffer alone each lap (from experience).

Do you have a recorded time on this strava segment?

I'd expect the Cs to range from around 1:00 to 1:10 or maybe with a slightly expanded range to account for the additional Zwift Academy riders.

If you don't have a time for the 4 laps you could extrapolate from the single lap segment:

By all means have a go, stay behind several riders for the best draft. I wouldn't try and lead the pack, just see how you feel.
