You've got to hit 750 watts for 15 seconds
No problem if not in ERG and I'm not wasted :-) Not sure how many times I can do it though.

Well did the FTP test i had a minimum of 250 and a maximum of 255 watts that i wanted, my avg for the 20 mins was 266 but 15 seconds before the end i had absolutely nothing left to give and only just turned the pedals over so i lost about 3 watts so my new ftp is 249, 1 watt out ^_^

Thought i was going to be sick at one point so much so i was looking at the floor looking at the best place to puke up xx(, max heart rate was 189 been awhile since it was that high.
Going to rise the ftp in trainerroad to about 255 or 260 for the training got a ride thats got a TSS score of 142 this week:eek:.

@Whorty did my eyes deceive me or was you actually on zwift.

Feel a bit blah at the minute.

249 you say? 1w less than mine

Seriously how bloody frustrating. Cracking HR though:okay:
I have to do another one end of next week so I would rather not have been reminded about the puking!

It was indeed me sir :okay: Thought i'd come for a pootle around Zwift-land for a change of scene. It was very 'jumpy' tonight. I was trying to ride with you but the screen was freezing then you'd either be a few seconds behind or a few seconds ahead of me. Some big groups came past the screen froze again and I lost you completely. Once the big groups went the screen was smoother. Maybe too many riders on tonight?

Had a 1 hour pootle around London. Not been on Zwift since May and even though I wasn't pushing too hard I got quite a few PBs  Was 20 seconds off my best for Box Hill so when I get on next and push it I'm hoping I can get a PB :heat:

Realised after the IoW I need to do longer tempo rides and not just ballsout race after race. I'll do the one BKool race a week in the CG and then try to do longer rides on Zwift for now to build base fitness and hopefully shed some timber. Next time we have a CycleChat ride out I want to teach you buys a lesson :gun: (well, stay with you a bit longer anyway  )

Was nice to see you on it, i was warming up for the ftp test at the time, but will do a lot of longer rides on zwift thinking of doing a 100 miler on it before Christmas

Whorty- welcome ^_^

There's a few base builder rides that might be ideal for you. I would suggest you don't ride the sub2 rides because they will likely be too slow for you. 2.5 might be better.

100 miler? That will be a challenge :heat: I was thinking of a 100km, but not sure 6 hours + on a turbo would be pleasant :B)

I wouldn't think too many riders would be a problem -- I was in a race just a couple weeks ago that broke 500 and I was in a group ride with 350+ without any significant degradation in the graphics performance.

They did add more eye candy a few releases ago -- if your system was borderline before that may have pushed it over the edge. That was the case for one of the two laptops I use(d) for zwifting. There's been talk of adding the ability to turn off some of the graphic elements.

Another thought, there is a "minimal ui" setting that is honored that might help -- though you lose the riders nearby, your stats, etc. I only used it once or twice and didn't like it. I think you can use zwiftsettings to enable it.

@Whorty that's my plan
I did a ftp on zwift I found real difficult to hold the watts steady during the warm up like if it says hold 130 watts for 5 minutes I second I'm at 80 the next 200 just cant keep it steady only my 2nd ride on the neo

I keep looking at the 100k races... It'd be *very* ambitious for me, but if the timing was to work out I'd seriously consider it with the goal of just trying to finish.

You're likely seeing instantaneous wattage. You might consider setting it to a 3-second average. That's still responsive, but should smooth things out.

When I pushed a bit harder tonight I was around 3 w/kg, when relaxing I was about 2.3 w/k. I could hold the latter quite easily but the former was an effort and OK for a short ride but I'd burn out over a longer ride. 2.5 as you say might be about ride :okay:

That's good advice. You will, unless you have greater control over Cadence and power than me still find it tricky, especially if you have a significant leg imbalance.

Zsun rides are good been on a ZZRC sub 2 ride as well, sub 2 rides are good for active recovery rides so nice and easy spin, what ever group ride you do DONT GET DROPPED ^_^
