When we set up the league the stated rule was TT bikes only if the stage was a TT. We discussed this only a few days ago and agreed that using a TT bike for a solo attempt at a league stage that wasn't a TT would potentially be unfair - because often people can be isolated in one of our races as there aren't many people, so they don't get much/any draft benefit anyway, but miss out on the advantage of a TT bike. I feel bad saying this as your time was absolutely outstanding as a solo ride, TT bike or not. Here's what I posted when we set up the league :Hey Bridgy does my time last night on out and back count? I did it on a TT bike as I wasn’t expecting to find anybody worth drafting as I was going solo. If it’s against the rules, written or unwritten then no probs. I don’t want to be up in the Court of Arbtrition for Sport or UCI dock 😄
I don't feel comfortable being the UCI Commissaire! - happy for the community as a whole to decide and I will go with the flow. However we should try and have some rules in order to be fair to everyone and encourage participation in the organised meetups (or at least not potentially disadvantage those who do the meetups)RULES:
- Use real weight and height only(🙄)
- TT bike only to be used if the stage is marked as a TT
- If you can't make one of the meet-up races you can set a time (on the appropriate bike) at another time before the league finishes, but not in an organised Zwift race or event
- Any pre or post race excuses to be oficially rated by @TurboTommy whose judgement will be final
