Edit
I was second up fox with 4w/k and Barista fastest with nearer 5w/k[/QUOTE]

Just checked my Power Curve and the max time I've held 4 w/kg is 5.15 minutes.

Just installed stravastix for a better idea of performance:
276-553w up Fox, weighted average of 3.84. So, just below 4w/k.

Got RGT access code I had my first ride up Ventoux from Malaucene. First impressions are graphics clear and seem more realistic than Bkool which has a motorway on stilts going up Ventoux:smile: Speed seems roughly right for effort. I need to alter resistance because I stayed on big ring so need to adjust to force me onto granny ring with 1,2 spare gears. My only issue was terrible power drop outs, well more drop in recorded number, sometimes the resistance would ease without warning other times no resistance change, power would drop from 240W to 99W for no reason. I got off bike at 9km and re positioned the Ant+ to underneath the kickr. It helped a little. Its also slow to catch up with power on gear changes, quite laggy sometimes. Good start from RGT, needs further work, and more riders, never saw anyone on there but me, one guy logged on but didn't ride.

2hr5mins for Bob to aim for:tongue:

My race was a little uneventful was with a large group at the front and occasionally at the pointy end so adjusted my pace, we worked well until box hill where the pack blow apart.

So I held a nice steady tempo going up box hill raining in riders as i went:tongue:, past the last rider that was ahead so had to bridge over to 2 more riders that were ahead by 10 seconds got past them im in the big ring at this point I got to the final hump before the decent where I wasn't paying attention and lost 3 places as I was still in the big ring almost grinding to a halt, going down towards the tube station behind a s wildschuts caught up with him and i could tell he wasn't interested in working together as at the escalators he dropped me, i eventually caught up again this time was 3 seconds behind and he kept on putting down the power so i decided to drop him at the next opportunity which i duly did on the hill heading towards the mall and he was never to be seen again :becool:.

From that point on I was by my self slowly catching up with 3 other riders and keeping a nice gap from those behind it was a sprint finish managed to get by 1 rider but the other 2 was a tad to far ahead.

I could of pushed harder on the climbs but didn't want to go over the W/kg limit but I think next time I'll hit box hill harder.

243 watts over 20 minutes pretty pleased with that and 7th place.

So it's not just me with regards to the power fluctuations

Excuse my ignorance, but what resistance adjustment are you referring to?

No drop outs for me- all smooth and seamless
2h 5min you say? I hope that was on full realistic settings Andy;) next you will be riding Zwift at 50% or something ^_^

Well done!

Will have a look at your Strava file.

Planning on doing the EVR Europe Race tonight at 8:05pm. All Cats start at the same time so chance to get on the front group and hang on for dear life
Bit of a change to race on Richmond (flat).

When it first started it mentioned effort level of 45%. I assume it's like Zwift where you can adjust it to position you on a different section of the cass, more convenience than cheating. The turbo still records correct power . You still need to make the power, but I like to have higher cadence on longer rides to save my knees mainly.

Bob probably can best explain, he was an early adopter I believe
