Fun but hard work with Paul putting the hammer down, a little cooked for Box, so didn't have the usual power for it. Dean did it to me again a dumped me on the hill. I just couldn't keep within 10 seconds or I might have caught him on the run for the line. I wa 40secs behind and he crossed the finish only 6 seconds in front. Well done Dean and everyone. 37.31 Zwift verified

Cheers Andy i was hoping to get you on box hill and when i did i hoped a ride on and a bit of bait would help you but i had the feeling you was cooked, and i thought near the end you'd put down some watts to catch me so i was keeping a very close eye on your w/kg.

I must try riding from my bed next time :ninja:i was taken aback to see you and Tommy riding when you said you weren't , and i was expecting a much more faster start and that's why I went like a bat out of hell at first ^_^

I took me too long to recover on the downhill so couldn't power down it. I did recover by the bottom and was slowly reeling you in, and went deep on the tunnel climb to get it to 4secs. You obviously were sharp to react and edge a few seconds to the line.:okay:

I did Wk 4, workout 4 on Monday. I know exactly what you mean as I wasn't looking forward to that one, particularly the long block in the middle (16 mins?) where it's mainly at threshold with a bit of tempo. I was able to get over that block though (just) and that gave me confidence that I could make it to the end of the workout at 100%, which I just about managed.

After that I could see why Chris Hoy used to train with a mattress next to his turbo, so he could just fall off his bike at the end of a session!
It's really odd that the parts I either fail or partially pass tend to be the low power sections. I put it down to me taking a chance to reposition myself or stretch the legs after a hard section and not being able to maintain the cadence so the power falls off :boxing::laugh:. Still I'll see how I do tomorrow.

On a good note I've completed 3 of the 5 25km world rides for this months mission. Only Innsbruick and NY to do.

:cry:I hate hills! HRM didn't work so may have overcooked myself on the flats (even if i was wheelsucking ) , and the hill was horrible. Tried to latch on to @bobinski and @Whorty but had nothing
You must have flown off the line as the first time I even realised you was in the race was when me and Bob caught you at the top of Box.

Thanks for the ride @bobinski .... I have a feeling you was toying with me tonight to show me who is still boss :notworthy: I hope I at least made you work a little hard :okay:

Well done all  Great with some company Tommy, had my eyes firmly on the meter countdown, getting ready to sprint with about 200 meters lft, only to discover I was right at the banner . So no sprint this time.

I didn’t know where the finish was Lars. Im still not sure to be honest . Because I don’t know any of the courses and I wasn’t on the official ride I never got the countdown. So I just tried to stay ahead of you across that overhead banner but then you carried on going so...

It’s was lots of fun though . I had a feeling we’d still be a big group at the bottom of the hill and that’s how it turned out. I felt ok to be honest. I think the little battles we’re having our going to help us both as your push me to my limit.
