It is picked up by Zwift and the red power light is on. Just seems odd that the Ant+ light doesn't appear to be working. The trainer is a week old!

Gary nothing helpful to add in afraind apart from request to join the neo users group in Facebook. Definitely the place to ask.

Bugger! Weigh in today at 80.0 dead. Been below 80 twice this week and was hoping today was number 3 so I could drop weight in zwift. Looks like I'll not be climbing box hill tonight at a lighter weight :banghead:

Good race Monday with a win on another flat course. Had a nice big mixed C/D group early and we swallowed up various solo riders, but we also had riders dropping off the back pretty regularly. By the last few miles we were down to just 4 of which I was the only D rider. I was totally spent and let them go about a mile out. I was far enough ahead of the next D rider that I wasn't terribly concerned about being caught and I just kept a reasonably steady pace to finish the race. Power was slightly below the previous effort, but right at the top of the D range. 4 straight wins in D.

Tuesday looked like it'd be a good hard race. But I had drop-out issues right at the start of the race, so I missed latching onto a faster group. Eventually the sensors re-paired and I formed up with a few D riders that seemed to be pushing pretty hard. We steadily caught the C/D riders that were spit out the back of the fast group and as we approached a group of 2-3 D riders I figured we likely had caught enough from D that we probably had podium finishers in our little group. Then I had a massive drop-out where I lost everything for about a minute. When things re-paired, the group was long gone. I trudged along a bit after that, but multiple-dropouts again and I just gave up in frustration.

I'm snowed in at the vacation house (brought the trainer). Will try to join the group race tomorrow if my meeting schedule allows.

The usual advice is to weigh once a week at the same time. Our weight varies so much depending on water retention, number 2's etc as much as how much we eat that weighing daily is not necessarily a good indicator. Saturday mornings for me.

I weigh every morning as it keeps me focused and I can see the trend of the weight loss/gain. I did read recently that if you struggle to keep focus that this is actually a better solution as weighing once a week kind of lets you 'forget' you're trying to lose weight for the other 6 days. It works for me anyway and please me to see the weight trend drop by 0.1 kg each day.

You are right though, there are fluctuations during the week, but so long as the trend is down it keeps me positive and focused :okay:

Nah. Committed to losing this weight so I can pressure you guys on the hills  Average 247 watts for an hour race yesterday, if I can get the kg down, that could make me a decent B racer within 6 months

btw, Friday is cake day :okay:
