One hint of advice, after playing with the real road feel, You go into the Zwift Menu, Settings, and at the bottom, Turn OFF Tacx Roadfeel ... It's a revelation ... I actually think I gained a couple of Watts after turning it off.New trainer here Let's see what all the fuss is about with these NEO trainers Will have a bit of a trial run before the race tonight, just in case it responds differently to the Kickr.
ImNot sure if I'll make it to the meetup tonight. I've been doing the ftp builder plan and it has left me shattered this week and I could barely manage to complete a foundation workout last night. So I've got in a nice early excuse for any poor showing if I do ride this evening
I'll see how the legs feel on my ride home.
I did Wk 4, workout 4 on Monday. I know exactly what you mean as I wasn't looking forward to that one, particularly the long block in the middle (16 mins?) where it's mainly at threshold with a bit of tempo. I was able to get over that block though (just) and that gave me confidence that I could make it to the end of the workout at 100%, which I just about managed.Im
I'm in week 4 of the 6 wk ftp builder plan. There are some painful sessions in the second half of the 6 wk's that I'm not looking forward to. Wk 4, workout 4 (available tomorrow) looks nasty to me, especially if they put a cadence requirement on it .
