Well done all. Escpecially Lars and Andy.

Lars if you don’t want to pay a dentist come to London and I’ll happily have a go at your teeth ^_^

Another schoolboy error - didn't go out fast enough again and got caught in nomansland. Had a good little session with @Whorty and @bobinski. Saw the group ahead but over a minute and couldn't make any inroads.

Me and Bob went pretty much to the line. Looked like he was doing intervals - kept seeing 4-5W for a few seconds followed by 1-2W ???

Still, good fun.

Right spd kept unclipping and then wouldn’t clip back in - will sort that tomorrow.

Manage to stay with Lars and Tommy after I caught them in the ruins.

Held on for dear life on the climb out.

I think they were kind and waited for the fatty.

Good early sprint Tommy, caught me out, blew up trying to chase down an aero powerup . :okay: .To you too Lars:okay:

Kudos for dragging your ass over that hill Andy. I saw you were just a few seconds back after the top, so thought we would be better off with a group of three.
Paul and Lee got a minute on us on the hill, but we managed to keep inside one minute for a long time.
Tommy, haven't you been off the bike for a long time? I thought you would blow up at that hill, but you kept going.

Since I couldn't make the group ride, I signed up for the 3R race which started about 45 minutes earlier. Like other races over the last week it felt like I was always on the verge of getting dropped from the group. Thankfully it was a large group and even when we strung out we usually bunched back up. I made a conscious effort to avoid sitting in behind the one rider that kept bouncing in/out :-)

I'm not supposed to be sprinting for a few more days, but I made a half-hearted go at it about 350M out, definitely too early as even with the aero power-up I ran out of gas before the finish line and I think one of the C riders caught me for a tie out of our little group. Certainly didn't feel like I had anywhere near the top end power or stamina that I've had in the past.

I didn't realize it until I got a message on strava that one of the riders in the group was Jonathan Earl, a fellow Zwift splitter. We finished #1 and #2 for the D riders. So a good showing for team cyclechat today. Next time I'll keep an eye out and we can work together rather than at cross purposes... :-)

Even though I felt on the verge of being dropped repeatedly through the race, I turned in my best best power since the ZA rides last fall (before my second embolism). Definitely encouraging.
