This thread reminds me of a line from when I saw Chorus Line on stage maybe 40 years ago, when characters are sharing stories of their troubled youth and one says that he used to break into people's houses, and "Oh, I didn't steal anything - I'd just rearrange their furniture."

As bored teenagers in the 70's we used to trawl around the next village taking garden gnomes & swapping them with other gnomes from other gardens. I often think about this halfway through a rant about the stunts modern day teenagers get up to.

The oven shelves

I was dealing with a rental property once where the tenant had removed all the shelves in the fridge. Rendering it completely useless. Needless to say the deposit wasn’t returned in full.
