Maybe “we’re”getting acclimatised ? But this Morning felt so nice…….we just keep on walking. Well: slightly further than normal anyway…..

Up and over a newly found railway bridge at the back of beyond:

Onto a fairly newly discovered path; on the Sea inlet into Oulton Broad:

Found one of Banksy’s works when he came to Lowestoft (This is on the face of a small Bridge in Normanston Park):

Around some of the Broad we walked:

Past some of the Thatched Roof (Made from locally grown Reeds) Boutique Holiday shops on the side of the Broad on the way home……

6.14 miles of very mild enjoyment 😁

After a few weeks of 'Round the Block' walks, I met up with my daughter and her Cockerpoo at 07:00 for a damp & mucky walk around Sywell Reservoir ~Wiki ~

It was a bit sleety and damp at first but, once that stopped, it was slightly warmer @ 4°c

Back to the car on 3½ miles then home to put Bonnie in the bath ti de-mud her! Teddy got the same treatment from daughter, too 😂

Couple of Sunday afternoon miles with her Ladyship after a snooze on the couch. Nothing new there 🙄

What was new was Blue skies, the sun, shadows and even some actual (relative) warmth: LOVELY !

Short walkies pre-drive into town by MrsPete this morning so empty the dog out.
Once parked, it was easier if I took Bonnie for a few miles along the River Nene while MrsPete did the shopping 🛒

I've been watching this boat getting lower & lower in the water for a year or so..

I parked in the Retail Park as I needed a few bits & bobs but went for a walk across The Washlands first..
Last time I was there it was, as is it's job, full up with floodwater..

Plenty of sheep around that Bonnie would love to chase (but obviously isn't allowed to!)

Hiding amongst the mole hills, barely visible! 😂

Sometimes bleak & windy but on a day like today, just peaceful, apart from a bit of traffic noise from the nearby A45 that @biggs682 frequently travels...

A lovely, but muddy, 3½ miles in winter sunshine ☀️

We have just had our lunchtime stroll nice and sunny but a chilly breeze in places

Nice early 2.5 miles walk around the local streets another varied route so as not to walk the same pavements as every day.
Chilly but lovely colourful sunrise towards the end made it worthwhile.

Nice walk to Miller's Yard café for a tea and bacon sarnie for me plus a free sausage for Bonnie 🐶

Whenever I walk Bonnie near this café she heads for it knowing that Sharon will give her a treat and ear tickle ☺️

Lurgy recovery walk to the next village: 2.2km or 1.2 miles, but 102m of up, or 330 feet.

Passing the railway station.

One of the two direct trains per day to Stuttgart.

The wettest walk with my Gal in quite some time this Morning 😳

Some back lanes / paths we trod:

Then off into the woods:

Where the Snow-drops were in full bloom:

Past the local Church:

By which time Missy looked like a drowned rat….

……and after 4.5 miles - I think we’d both had enough !!

Now onto some (Much dryer / warmer) bike fixing 😁

Only in the UK, by the Sea (?) in a little micro-climate could two consecutive days be so far apart weather-wise:

Out we went and passed the fabulous St Michael’s Church:

And over the Great Eastern Linear Park (Old railway lines converted to cycle paths)….

Onto some of ‘The Scores’ at the top end of Lowestoft Town:

Where with so many closed businesses; some of it feels as old as I’ve made the photo look:

Bathed in early Morning sunshine - we headed for Belle Vue Park:

Then along the cliff and into the dunes….

Before finishing with a mile and a half wander along a near deserted and fabulous Beach with the Sun rising……

Sundays utterly gorgeous 10k walk complete ✅

A nice Sunday morning stroll not so windy or cold as expected.
Just over 3.5k in steps so not far but a new route.
Had a sudden urge so had to head home otherwise it could have been a bit messy

Pleasant walk in mild but windy weather this morning..

Sharon, at Miller's Yard café said I'd have to call in with Teddy, daughter and grandkids Cockerpoo, to say hello as we're doggy-sitting him for a few days.

He got a free sausage, too!

Back home on 3½ miles.. 👍

Only a few miles but better than being dragged around B&M etc 😂

Went a hike through Mabie Forest this morning. Some of the trails still closed do you logging bit plenty of places still to go.

Wandered up to the Roundhouse and nearly stepped on a common toad that was on the path.

A nice day for a walk. Dry sunny. Warmer than I expected and had overdressed.
