64.34miles in 3:43:53 so averaged 17.24mph on the fixed. Lots of spinning and being told to slow down. Bit slippy so couldnt keep speeds too high, slipped around abit, no real hills. Coming down the hill into Shelford i overtook someone freewheeling to get the sign, he wasnt expecting that:becool:

Rode from Lancaster to Darlington in a severe weather warning over a couple of days. 105 miles and nearly 10,000ft climbing - a_n_t I'll join you in the leg pain department! Rode through a flood which came up to my hubs but didn't really have to pedal for the last 40 miles owing to a 30mph tailwind! Had some amazing views too and some great beer to boot...

It's now an hour or so since I posted that ^^^ My legs are still killing me! ow ow ow ow ow!! Need sympathy and massage...

I had a ride today, was only short though, sprint into town to meet someone, was a full on spin because she was going to be in earlier then what she said and didnt want to be too late

Had a nice ride out on the MTB again. Got very muddy though. Did 40 miles in 2 hours and 30 mins. Saw a few random goats that confused me though. Getting our own goat next year though. Random information for you there.

A whisper over 43K in 2 hours 6 mins with 918 metres climb in very windy conditions. The leaf mulch on the roads and the lakes of water with all the rain we've had made it interesting!

Lovely commute this morning. Bright, clear blue sky....the parks looking stunning with all those autumnal colours....no wind to speak of.....a nice fresh crispness in the air, but nothing too cold (and nothing damp) - and to think I used to do it on the tube...

23 miles for me today in 1hr 23 so got an average of 17.17. Nice ride, quite a few other riders out today which I thought was odd considering its a tuesday - none of them looked like commuters either. Almost froze my toes of though, got home and got in a nice warm shower, which I will never do again because now they sting like hell.

33 miles this morning. Absolutely gorgeous out there.
Snow on the hills, cold air burning the lungs:wub:

-5 this morning and pissing down with snow!

My 20-minute, eight km ride took 40 mins this morning, and I only fell off once, knocking my knee and elbow (I thought helmets were meant to protect you! ;)).

Somehow managed to sever the gear cable, as well, so was in low gear the rest of the journey through the forest where it was 'safe' to ride.

Knee swelled up and it kept on snowing, so I decided to finish early (in fact my last day at work until March) and walked home after three hours, which took 75 mins.
