31.45miles in 1:35:44 so averaged 19.71mph. On the Giant after about 2 weeks of riding the fixed, powered up the hills and on the flat. I changed the gear cable a couple of days ago and theres 2 gears that dont want to work. This slowed me down because i was either grinding a gear or spinning, went for spinning.
Nice ride in the sun:becool:

Three blustery laps of Richmond Park anticlockwise , enviously looking at riders with their longs on. Note to self , get some soon.

Officially, 1.65km.

Rode the BUCS Hillclimb at Curbar Gap and suffered with 7:55. I rode up it when I got there and felt ok and the bike was working well, but cometh the hour and I couldn't shift into my bottom sprocket so I was stuck on 34-21.

That's my first excuse anyway....the next one is I'm still feeling the effects of being knocked off on Monday!

Anyway I finished and sat up the top waiting for another UoBCC rider and then we took a long scenic route back on fast wide straight roads with an awesome descent and then flat back to the start. Made up for the rubbish effort on the hill.

Bring on the TTs!

wet. made the mistake of not riding the bike without mudguards, and the shoes without the hole in the sole gaffa taped-up. don't know how far either as the computer didn't work for most of it. a bit of pootle, but the café stop did decent coffee and muffins.

Despite poor weather, wind and rain this morning, this evening turned out quite nice....so a quick circuit after the dogs been back to the vets.
15 or so miles...nice and steady. No biggie, but there'snot been much time on the bike lately, so it's nice to get out, even for a shortish one.
