...a windy but sunny 65 miles around the Turkish republic of northern cyprus. Rode through villages, hills, beautiful countryside and ended up in a beach cafe. Got chased by dogs, played football with some kids, waved at by locals selling stuff on the roadside, and had a hairdryer speed gun pointed at me by two laughing Turkish policemen.

20 miler today, elbow so sore I just couldn't take anymore, turned around and rode home. I under dressed today as well, I had to wrap a cloth I carry, around my old man to stop it falling off...
Get yourself a bit of fleece to tuck down there, it does wonders.

I hate you, I hate your bike, I hate your camera, the laughing Turkish policemen amd the street sellers. I hope you tyres turn into marshmallow, I wish upon you the sharp spikes on your saddle and I hope your handle bars turn in to pooh infested toilette paper!

Just a short one this evening, down to the Shirehall for the Shropshire Cycle Forum meeting.

Down in the cold and a slight tailwind, back in cold, drizzle, and winds gusting to 33mph. At the end of the ride my tail light snapped off its mount. It doesn't look fixable, but I might try anyway.

Just under 7 miles round trip at a rather disappointing 11mph average.

I did my usual 11.5 mile regular irregular commute and cant recall much other I was a bit too warm come the end, it started to snow slightly and rather than dealing with the dodgy drivers which see to appear when it snowing I took one of my shorter routes home. I never realised forgetting to reset my gps would make STRAVA art, can you tell what it is yet ;)

24 miles of snow, slush, freezing wind, hailstones.
Enjoyed every bit of it, should have set out earlier and with better boots
Nothing remarkable happened, apart from discovering that my new expensive supposed to be waterproof trousers are not waterproof at all
There was a few cyclist about, quite a lot of bike tracks in the fresh snow too.
Made it home in the nick of time: the wind started to get stronger, almost got knocked off the bike at traffic lights.
Did not take many pictures least I water damage another phone

A shade under 30 miles. It was lovely, sun shining and not too windy. I went a circuit taking in Hatfield Heath, Bishops Stortford,
Much Hadham, Roydon and back to Harlow. Lots of laying water on the roads. I started out with very muddy tyres and now they are nice and black and clean!

Another short one today. I managed to drag my brother out for his first ride in almost 6 months.:wahhey:

We just went for a short loop around Shrewsbury, taking in the river views and enjoying the warm spring-like feel of the day. It's hard to believe that only 24 hours earlier it was snowing.

En route we encountered a blockage on the road caused by a removal van parked up on a busy but narrow road, leaving a gap not quite large enough for a bus to get through. Doug and I are glad we were in front of the bus.:giggle:

We had to take a diversion at one point as the underpass at Meole Brace has flooded again. It was fine when I rode through at 9 o'clock last night,

We did 9.3 miles at a rather leisurely 8.7 mph average.

10 mile break from
work. Cold but the new cycling jacket from Decathlon is working well. Back to tracky bottoms over tights though as it was just 2C. Two other cyclists seen on Pexhill Road near Macclesfield. Rather slow on the climb but enjoyable. Need to avoid over training but four days in Hamburg for work will mean no exercise.

I rode up that hill for the first time on Saturday and found a rather good greasy spoon at the roundabout at the top. Bacon and Sausage barm powered me home over the Brickworks
