Just over 20miles through the lanes this morning. Absolutely beautiful - there was a hare running alongside me for a little bit, and not many people out either. I took a couple of wrong turns on the way back, it was meant to be a 16mile ride. No matter, I did my first 20miler a little earlier than planned.

Mtb's in the forest with three pup stops, great fun, there just seems to be to many pups in and around Epping Forest.^_^

70 miles starting in Rothesay with the full Isle Of Bute circuit and frequent stops for picking up my jaw from the floor and to take photos. Stunning beautiful. Continued up to that stupid two and a half minute long ferry (with often half an hour waiting time) over to the mainland. Up Glendruel (which really is Glen Dull) to Strachur. Halfway down Loch Eck and then the vertical climb and drop to Ardentinny. Then the lochs out to the red ferries to Gourock'ish and the two miles ride up to the train again back to my castle again. Cold, but sunny.

I cant believe the folding bso actually managed 50 miles, the gps gave out at 25 though, somewhere round my second visit to this place and lunch

Nice 50k this morning with a few friends in a charity run for Marie Curie around Craigavon. Even managed to miss a big shower when we stopped for a cup of tea. One of the girls with us had never done more than 5 miles before, so she did very well.

First time in months I actually thought I was wearing too many layers as opposed to not enough.

Mine was a flat Cheshire lanes ride today just short of forty miles, sunny but a little blustery. Mixing hills and flat at the moment getting a bit of prep in for the Great Manchester ride thingy.
Had a blast down the Tatton mile but still didn't get into the Strava top 20! must choose a day with a glorious tail wind. Then went tri athlete chasing as the Wilmslow tri was on. Nothing quite like scalping people on bikes in swimming costumes in full aero tucks. Then cruised home, quite chuffed to find I was Strava KOM on the Morley Green sprint.

Nice little 20 miles on the cycle path this morning. Hardly came across any cyclists - guess a bit of wind and a spittle of rain is enough to put off even the most hardened Glaswegians. Got a 3rd and a 5th on Strava, probably helped by the tail / side wind on the way home.

Averaged over 17mph for the 10 miles home, which is quite bit faster than my previous ride on this route, which I haven't ridden for a month or so. Guess my daily commutes are really boosting the fitness levels :bicycle:

A nice wee 3.4 miler to get sunscreen, only to find out boots was shut! I managed to borrow some however before I went on a longer ride on the BSO folder 60.5in total (38.11 before the Garmin Nuvi Batteries died). I had lunch in this place to add to the clientèle but it was such a nice day I carried on for a bit.
