Ouch and double ouch! Hope everything's on the mend - I'm assuming someone's already done the 'are the bikes OK bit?
Yeah aches and pains are where I expected them to be, I imagine the cracked rib from crash #1 will take a few more weeks. Both bikes are ok although Lelly needed a new crankset.

Hoping to pass on crash #3!

Have been rather slack lately, just out on errands but had a good blast around the flatlands of York today. While out I encountered a vintage moped rally - it looked like a swarm of derney bikes had escaped from a velodrome. Some interesting vehicles, including a tandem. A lot looked just like bicycles retro-fitted with engines and there was the inevitable Honda 90. I reckon I was going faster than a lot of them but couldn't be sure as was going the other way:bicycle:

No miles, home work supervision , although the best bike did get a really good clean this morning, after the very wet CC Jodrell ride a couple of weeks ago ^_^.

A 19 mile round trip out to Lidl along the shore road and home by the scenic route. Bright day but more than just a suspicion of snow in the clouds carried overhead by the cold north wind.:cold: Brrrrr.

Did a 50 mile ride from the Velodrome in Manchester, past lymm and through Knutsford/Wilmslow. REALLY good day for it, perfect weather.

My avg speed may have been helped by the fact I was drafting a tandem for a good portion of the ride, the tandem had a paralympic track cycling gold medalist on the back of it  It's not "what you know" it's "Who your mates are dating"
Bit like the area i was riding, good stuff !

CTC (Ayrshire) Arran trip today. Cycled the 15 miles each way to the ferry terminal at Ardrossan, and did another 35 miles on the island. As part of the route was off-road on forestry tracks, I took the MTB and was glad I did! Started off with a road section from Brodick to Lamlash. From Lamlash it was off road on the forestry roads, up a never ending hill until the descent into Kilmory for lunch and a beer at the Lagg Hotel. From there, over to Blackwaterfoot and then "The String Road" cutting across the island back to Brodick. A fair bit of climbing involved today! Couple of pics from the day:
