36 miles out through Sandon and Therfield, to Barkway and down to Fowlmere. Back via Melbourn, Bassingbourn and then to Royston to get a train back (so as to avoid the rain).
If only they hadn't got one of the usual Sunday busfests...

Nine mile off road loop from my house. Three awesome sections with fat singletrack, mad rutted section, loads of climbing but finished off with a 1/2 mile blast down a rocky track. All on bridleways except for a couple of relatively short excursions onto tarmac.

Decided to see what the Canyon build is like as an XC beast. It gave very good account of itself to be fair.

Did a 50 mile ride from the Velodrome in Manchester, past lymm and through Knutsford/Wilmslow. REALLY good day for it, perfect weather.

My avg speed may have been helped by the fact I was drafting a tandem for a good portion of the ride, the tandem had a paralympic track cycling gold medalist on the back of it  It's not "what you know" it's "Who your mates are dating"

38 miles today doubling back on ourselves to try and incorporate as many climbs as possible as need to get used to hills. Good fun though and I'm starting to like inclines.

11 miles for me, round the local lanes. New top speed going down a new hill, and new slowest speed walking up another one. It was a pleasant run, despite being windier than it looked from inside.

40 miles around Ribchester and Beacon Fell this morning. Very nice but hard work as I did not have the legs.

60 odd hilly club miles. Managed to get up the steep bit of Riber Hill near Matlock without getting off. V pleasant day and a quick blast up Froggat edge as well as we changed route to go to a different cafe. In the last 2 weeks I've conquered Riber and Winnat's for the first time, definitely getting fitter and lighter :-)
