I've just remembered @User9609 's swallow thread. I hope he's auditioned a suitable cast for episode 2.

There's a coincidence- Two swallows just flew over our house- the first of the year here. They were most definitely heading north and at quite a pace too. ( @User9609 they might be 'yours'!). I just hope they haven't made it here too early.
Lots of Sand Martins are back now, but I haven't seen any Swallows yet, I am aware of one been spotted at east Chevington in Northumberland. I don't believe I have ever seen a Swallow in March, its usually about the 10th April when they arrive at home, 4th is the earliest and 21st was the latest they have arrived back.
I must take the hatch of the garage so they can get back in.

Would anyone want me to do an Episode 2 ?

If they nest in a photographable place I will be keeping a record, so I could very easiy do another thread. I never get bored watching them, but could imagine others would.
I'd love to see whatever photos you get, be it on this thread or a thread of its own. Anyway, those who aren't interested don't have to go looking in the thread.

I suspect there would be plenty who would follow it .... and it's easier to see their progress if it's in a separate thread. (Then if others are bored they don't have to read it and it's really easy for those who do want to:okay:

I wonder why it crossed the road.
It definitely got to the other side, as far as Doris Stokes is concerned.

Of course we want Episode 2. You shouldn't have to ask!
