No, your point exactly was that I’d murdered a fungi.

Firstly you can’t legally murder a fungi, so you’re wrong on your “exact point”

Secondly, the fungi is still doing what it was supposed to do in the state I left it in. I wouldn’t knowingly damage any fungi or wildlife.

The wildlife thread is a good place and doesn’t normally get contentious. Just enjoy the photos.
