This seems like the right place for this. What is up with this woman's pronunciation of this word? Is this a thing?

I suspect she is gently mocking the way an Italian would pronounce the word, i.e. phonetically. Maybe some Italian friend or acquaintance has said the word that way in error and it's become a private joke which she has managed to get onto national tv.

I'm an old fashioned/conservative type,so i refuse to use the word 'guys',preferring to say blokes or chaps(British),especially since 'guys'(American) is now used to refer to females as well as males.🧐
I know what you mean on this one as it is used daily where I work. Embarrassingly though, I have to confess to it having 'slipped' from my own mouth on occasion when struggling to find an alternative to describe a group of colleagues as not all are chaps/blokes and saying ladies & gentlemen can sound like you are taking the proverbial.

She's probably pissed again from all of those times she tells us how she ljkes to sneak downstairs for a midnight 'snack'.. I'll have to try using that one myself. "Just popping down to the pub for a snack darling" 🥳
Having said that I do like the women though. Especially after all of the #### that was thrown around in the press about her..

The list of 'made-up' words to describe Shampoo and other beauty products on TV has become endless.. It began with ones we have heard of like 'Serum' and then just got out of control.. I can't help but snigger everytime I hear one of their 'ordinary people off the street' actors say it with conviction

Well how else would you describe those Movies (that I have been told exist  )..
Well, there's a mystery...Not a clue what you might be referring to....

Yes,it's a tough one addressing a group of both genders.🤔 I'd probably use 'folks'.

Bifidus digestivum.

In our house that became the substitute phrase for bullshit.
