That's not what you said - you said your friend would probably have died without the helmet. I'm saying you can't possibly know that, and nor can the doctor who said it.
That's what I object to - the parading of anecdote as if it were fact.
I'm not anti-helmet. I'm pro-evidence.
I never said he probably would have died, the doctor did (see later post) - due to this I can offer no evidence but it was not my opinion.
I was not parading it was fact, I merely said that due to my experience with my mate crashing I had made the choice to wear a helmet.
Anyway, like I said countless times before, I was just seeing what the arguments were for not wearing one and a few kind posters have advised me of this now.
To be honest I couldn't care less if others wear them or not, or if people argue for or against them.
