I mainly cycle on the roads from Stilton to Peterborough. Sometimes head out on the old A1 towards Sawtry, sometimes I loop round the other local villages. I intend to get myself to Rutland Water soon as I fancy riding round that.

I live in the Kingston Park area of Newcastle, which is really handy for all the country roads around the airport and (when I get fitter) up into Northumberland.
We visited a rather nice Italian restaurant in Kingston Park last year. Think it was called Luciano's ?? It was lovely.

I seem to instinctively head south from Warrington, maybe because this is where I started extending my journey length so it seems logical to keep widening the same essential loop!

Swindon- (nasty) but my fav w/e jaunt is to Cirencester & bak round 25 miles through some lovely (& flattish) countryside / water parks - got it down to 1.5 hours which ain't too bad for a portly 52 year old I guess!

North east Fife, Loch Leven and out towards Perthshire. Great mixture of rural roads with light traffic, hills to test the lungs and so many places to eat cake. It always comes down to a question of will power. I like cake.

Around the Northampton-Wellingborough-Kettering area.

I'm easy to spot, my recumbent trike + trailer combo is fairly unique.
