When is it going to stop... Raining

It is wet and blustery here now but it is supposed to dry up over the next couple of hours. After that, sunshine but with strengthening winds. I want to do 3-4 hours on the bike to get my weekly target done. I have planned a hilly route on quiet, scenic hilly exposed roads but may stick to boring, busy valley roads if the wind feels too much.

I wanted to get another metric century in but thats out the window , even if it does clear up i have had a roast sunday dinner so it would be barftastic trying to ride .

cleaning the bike and the wind got up setting off car alarms and blowing the garden furniture about so im glad i didnt bother

Conditions were eventually pleasant apart from the blustery wind, which put me off doing a long ride, so I just went out for an hour. I struggled into the wind on the outward leg and then enjoyed the wind-assistance on the way home.

I woke up to a rainstorm that eased up around midday.
I baked a cake during the rainstorm, put in a few hours of gardening after, because the sun was out.
Around 2 o'clock it started to get progressively windier, now it's really blowing a gale!
Hopefully it will have died down by my commute tomorrow.

The wind has seemed to of picked up again here.
I just saw what looked like a hot tub cover coming down the road at a fair old rate of knots straight past my house
