Bosch season 3 ok ..tho I like the honesty of this police US style series.
Not a load of ott for a change.

I'm quite an avid reader of the books, which has caused me a problem because of all the episodes I've seen so far I know what's going to happen next.
Apart from that I'm liking it.

The Last Kingdom - one of the best shows on the box, possibly even better than (whisper) Line of Duty*...!
Rip roaring action, with plausible plots based around real events.
If nothing else it shows us that Vikings not only had the most fun, but they were clearly the inspiration for much of the current hipster look ;)
Well worth catching while it's still on the iPlayer

* - Line of Duty was also excellent

Bosch Season 3. We like the Boschster.
Also Better Call Saul season 3, although we're being drip fed that one an episode a week.

Both are top notch; well acted, well scripted and superbly filmed although Bosch has got more jazz in it.

I think Line Of Duty was excellent again, sets itself up for a good two or more series as well.

Will have to watch the first three again now, which is no hardship!.

One of the few things I actually look forward to rather than just watch and that says it all really.

Was watching 'Abandoned Engineering' (Yesterday channel??) about rocket sites, but daughter wanted the TV with the TiVo box, for Netflix

However............... a bit earlier, I reminded her about another programme
It was the first time she'd wanted to watch a CBeebies bedtime storey for a lot of years:okay:

One thing I certainly won't be watching is this awful Charles III thing. I'm fine with the interpretation of real people historical events, I'm fine with the imaginings of future scenarios with fictional characters, but to take real life people in public life and to have some screenwriter put words in their mouth is just disrespectful. Anyone involved in it should be ashamed of themselves.

Time you enjoyed wasting was not wasted
Me and Mrs Rh record things and watch the whole series in a few days so we don't have to wait a week in suspense for the next instalment.

Recently done this with Homeland - okay but not as good as the earlier series, probably time to let it lie now.

Line of Duty - what a load of garbage! The first 2 series were enjoyable, if perhaps a bit extreme in their scenarios, the third started to get really silly, especially the final scene, and the fourth was just ridiculous. Added to which some of the acting was amateurish, or perhaps that was just the daft storyline making it look that way.

Nonsense. People have told stories involving real people - even live ones - for as long as there have been stories, and there's nothing inherently wrong with it. To describe it as 'awful' when you haven't seen it and don't intend to is just silly. It wasn't, as it happens. It was really very good. The whole thing was done in a kind of Shakespearean language, which worked superbly well. One of the best bits of tv drama I've seen for a while.

This.

I wonder if he got upset about the play it's based on. I doubt it.
