It's good. Different again to Daredevil and Luke Cage, but similarly builds and develops the characters with some interesting turns and twists on the way. Takes a while to get into as the main protagonist is a spoilt rich kid, but the characters around him are more than enough to create intrigue.

Nice to see the one eyed guy from 300 get another job too.

Just started rewatching Six Feet Under from the start. Superb. Fine acting all round and a script that manages to be both genuinely moving and darkly, brilliantly funny.

It'll be a real shame if they wreck Line Of Duty, as said above the first two were excellent and the third was watchable.

Should have kept it on BBC2 and under the radar..
I think they started wrecking in series three... and i'm still not sure what happened. The person who was innocent, but turned out to be guilty in series two turned out to be innocent again in series three, or was she innocent then guilty then innocent then guilty again?

Loved that show when originally aired... couldn't get into series two though. The opening titles were excellent... I think it was those that reeled me in.

Currently watching some euro-crime drama called The Team... not bad so far, but might be pants by the time it's finished.

Stargazing Live. This time they're spending your license fee on too many flights to Australia... but it's highly enjoyable as usual.

Catastrophe (s3)

Haven't been able to get into the new series of Catastrophe - series 1 was excellent, series 2 was good but patchy and this latest one just didn't work, so stopped watching after ep. 2.

Unlike Raised by Wolves which started slowly at about the same time as Catastrophe, then series 2 was excellent and then it got cancelled!

Still enjoying Prime Suspect: 1973. Is it a coincidence that the Kingsmead estate also featured in The Bill?

Moran has promised a third series, so fingers crossed.

It's also being re-made over the pond, presumably because The Office was a success. I can't this translating well.

Just binge watching Quarry - US series made in 2016 but set in 1972. Its a real find - excellent script, well acted, filmed, directed... and a killer soundtrack mixed in with some great live performances as part of the storyline...
Highly recommended...

Hinterland, series 3.

Recorded off BBC Wales via the wonders of the $ky+ box, but should be available on the iPlayer.

Continues the dark, brooding, Welsh Western excellence of the previous two series.

Episode one of series five of Wentworth... I tend to expect things like this to go stale by the third series but so far this is still bloody brilliant. Nice to see that they're sticking to the old rule of Prisoner Cell Block H... any character who's storyline is followed on the outside always ends up inside.

I needed a refresher to get back up to speed on what had happened in series 1 and 2 and tlh and I keep getting distracted by playing "spot the location" fro all our time in Mid- and West-Wales

Arvingerne (The Legacy) whilst I convalesce. Halfway through series two.
Line of Duty series 4; hasn't quite jumped the shark but has its trunks and water skis on.
