Yes, I think I survived about half of an episode! There was a Belgian version that was actually quite good, but they packed it in a few years ago.
Aus version is on every weekday for 10 weeks...shockingly addictive!

It really is. I like how they all live together and form little cliques.

The New Zealand version is similar, but they work as couples. In the one I saw, the couple had fairly obviously split up off-screen but were forced to pretend they hadn't as they were still participating. Hilarious.

Its also the most watched program:

1 2011 British Royal Wedding 6.0 Million
2 2005 Australian Open – Men's Singles Final 4.043 Million
3 MasterChef Australia (season 2) – finale challenge 4.029 Million
4 2003 Rugby World Cup Final 4.016 Million

So it's based on a play and is in pseudo Shakespearean rhyme. Calling it art doesn't make it any less distasteful and offensive. I've read that they had some difficulty casting it as many actors refused to touch it with a barge pole - well done them.

How can you possibly know if you'll find it distasteful or offensive if you won't watch it?

I finally got around to Loaded last night.

4 guys create a stupid game called Cat Factory which unexpectedly (not really, it's got cats in it) makes them millionaires when an American company invests in them.

To be honest, I'd not have bothered if it didn't have Nick Helm (who is genuinely brilliant) as I find most sit-coms a bit duff, but this has started really well and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes.

Was watching 'Abandoned Engineering' (Yesterday channel??) about rocket sites, but daughter wanted the TV with the TiVo box, for Netflix
Watched it last night, mainly about the V2, Werner Von Braun, & the rocket development of the 50's
Interesting

Then, the latest episode of 'Sin City Motors', with the Ford F100 pick-up, for the electrical grid worker
