What TV are you watching?

We have been watching Traitors

We don;t normally watch that sort of thing but it does become rather addictive

we keep having to pause it to discuss what xxx should have done and why that was a mistake

but - honestly - some people need to get a dictionary and look up what the word "Fact" means
it does not mean "vague concept that complies with my opinion"!!!

last night they actually came up with a proper fact - Harry and his shield and who he had told about it - but just bent it round to suit their pre-conceived opinions about people

and often they actually banish a traitor and celebrate, but it is for the wrong reasons but re-enforces their opinion that they are brilliant


like I said - addictive

and yes - I could do SO much better!!
(naturally this is a known fact so I will not apply just in case it gets disproved!!!)

Still think it’s impossible to tell and it’s mostly a game of chance. I agree with you about the ‘facts’. And I have to try to contain myself every time they vote for yourself.

American Nightmare (Netflix). Quite good if you like true crime. Only a limited series though, but that's often good as they don't drag on

Didn’t Mollie realise that Jaz voting to prolong the game was a firm indication that either he wasn’t a Traitor, or that he was a Traitor and knew that Harry was, too?

In the first case, the worst that could have occurred from her voting Harry (incorrectly) would have been that she and Jaz would have won and that she’d have cut Harry out of his one-third share of the prize. In the second case, she wouldn’t have been in the running for the money anyway.

I guess she was just too blinded by her misplaced loyalty to Harry that she didn’t think logically.

but the whole environment is designed to up pressure and emotion
and all through people have been voting on emotions and who they like
partly due to the lack of any evidence in most cases so they have nothing else to go on!

They vote again (with options limited to those who drew), and then if it’s still a draw, they draw lots. It happened early in this series.

It was a great final. Both series have been great and I usually don't take to this kind of show.

SLightly off topic - but I saw an article about people being "shocked" by a change to the format of teh final this year

becuase - after all - the programme has been running for SOOOOO many series

the change was

now hold onto you socks now

they did it indoors instead fo outdoors
and had teh fire in the middle of the table

SHOCK HORROR

anyway - lots of complaints about the change and how shocking it is

and lots of people asking WHY OH WHY OH WHY - or something like that


err -people - it is filmed in the North of Scotland - a country not really renounced for it's reliably warm dry weather


it is just possible it was bloomin' raining or too damn cold!!!!

and I'm sure H&S were all over the safety of the damn fire!!
