Dr Who - Wild Blue Yonder

The second of David Tennant's 3 specials as he enjoys his second run at the Doctor. I think I preferred this to his 1st one (The Star Beast) last week.

Yup and yup.

I'm rather enjoying the Danish Badehotellet (Seaside Hotel), a low octane period drama set in 1927 with loads of great characters. Currently in its 6th series but I've started from the beginning. If anyone enjoyed Anne with an E on Netflix, you'd probably enjoy this too. It's subtitled so can be enjoyed whilst eating crisps, which is nice.

Like Crossroads but by the sea then ?

Watched the last episode of Boat Story last night

very strange and excellent series
you really didn't know what was happening
as soon as you worked out what was going on you settle down a bit
only to find that some time later they have fed you a massive red herring

can't see there being a series 2 - there is only so much weirdness around
and I think the red herring shoal need to be givena few years to replenish!!!

A couple of episodes into The Couple Next Door on Channel 4. A decent watch so far

Is that the one where it's meant to be Leeds but then some parts are obviously filmed in Belgium ?

And they live in a strangely American suburban close, rather than soot stained terrace or cramped tudorbethan new build estate (where a mill used to be) like you’d expect.
Hugh Dennis does a convincing pervy creep.

Yup and yup.

I've gone back to watching Series 4 onwards, I've just watched the double of Silence In The Library/Forest Of The Dead and with hindsight of me now watched the following series(s) it really hits me hard what these episodes actually mean. I'm sure there will be interviews with Russell T Davis somewhere that say but I'd love to know how much of the future episodes he had planned when he was doing these episodes.

Edit: Removed spoiler as its not working

Wiki says that Moffat wrote those two!
p.s. have you put a spoiler in your posts? I think you messed up the formatting, it's gone very odd at this end ...

EDIT: interesting stuff:
The Hugo Award-nominated episode is also significant for introducing the character of River Song, who went on to play an important role in future stories.
