Watched Extraction 1 and now on to 2 lol . Totally over the top nonsense, lots of blood and violence , better than Casualty on a Saturday night :-D

Sixth Commandment on BBC iPlayer was excellent.
One of the best things I've seen for ages.

Though I'm afraid my OCD was triggered in the final episode:

Heat on Ch5 with Danny Dyer

2 families meet for their annual holiday, except there are lots of secrets and Australia is on fire.

Absolute dribble. It's 4 episodes which was at least 3 more than it needed. Just really drags out the 'mystery' for dragging sake, and it's not that interesting when it comes out.

Also considering it is called Heat, the fire doesn't arrive until the last episode.

Spiral Of Lies C4 Walter Presents French crime thriller, very good, I would recommend it.
Just finished watching it last night, very enjoyable with lots of twists.

A bit hard to follow, partly with the constant jumping forwards and back 16 years, and partly because the French they speak in the Biarritz/Bayonne region is pretty impenetrable, so they could have been saying something completely different from the subtitles.

On Thursday evening (3rd). BBC2 repeated the first ever episode of 'Goodness Gracious Me'
It must have been in the very late 90's when it premiered, at a guess?

I recorded it, & have just watched it

This inaugural show introduced us to;
'The Coopers' & 'The Robinsons' (the 2 'desperate to be English' couples)
'The 'Bangra Muffins' ("Innit!")
Smeeta Smitten

"Cheque Please!"
also features!!
This was the one featured

As its centrepiece, the magnificently presented (that hopefully made some think) "Going For An English"

The wonderful 'Indian Dad' came later

"Going for an English" is up there with "Four Candles" and Andre Preview on the Morecambe and Wise show as one of the greatest ever skits

Just spotted a third series of "Staged" is up on the BBC. For those unfamiliar, the first two were done in Covid Lockdown so shown as a series of Zoom meetings between David Tennant and Michael Sheen and their producer Simon. They play parody versions of themselves as bitchy thespians trying to out manoeuvre each other whilst nominally remaining friends. The new series is equally brilliant and takes a new direction rather than being more of the same. Watch series 1 and 2 first if you've not yet seen them

Clever funny and fantastically entertaining.

Around the time GGM started showing, me and my friends discovered at weekends after the clubs had shut the Indian restaurants were still open. I'm quite sure if you reverse these roles and that's me lol

And something called the Power of Parker on BBC. A bit like Dinner Ladies kind of humour from the star and writers of Car Share.

That sounds worth giving a whirl.

Just finished watching the Draper tours trilogy which has Sian Gibson (and Jonny Vegas) in it / them. On Iplayer, but not linked a sa series which is odd...
Murder on the Blackpool Express
Death on the Tyne
Dial M for Middlesbrough
