Magpie Murders (iplayer)

Great adaptation of the book of the same name by Anthony Harrowitz, it was a step above some other mystery series I've watched recently. It's got a great story in a story premise and is well acted and filmed.

I’m looking forward to catching up on that. Sounds good.

The Diplomat (S1)on Netflix.

Despite the very occasional moment of US silly-ness this cracker was bashed out over a two night binge.

A very interesting geo-political thriller with a strong female lead.

Complex enough to maintain interest but not so complicated that you were left wondering what the hell was going on.

Nicely set up for S2.

Give it a whirl - an easy 8/10.

Marked down a bit as 6 episodes wasn't enough!

Smith (1970)

A preposterous tale of a young* pickpocket named Smith. None of it really makes sense, especially at the end, but it's enjoyable none-the-less. 3/10

*the character is 12 years old, but the actor was 19!

Ooooh, I didn't know that! Hands down one of the cleverest things going. Even the poorer episodes are miles ahead of everything else.

Didn't get to watch Inside No 9 last night due to Football 😁
I'll watch later but saw that Guilt started again on BBC at 9 pm loved the first two seasons if you haven't seen it.First episode I watched last night and was good.Definately worth a watch.

I’m very much reminded of the local BTCV groups I spent time with in the late 80s/early 90s. 😃
