I've just watched the final episode of The Big Steam adventure on ch5. John sergeant, Peter Davidson, and Piglet from Pickering railway travelling from London to Scotland in and on different steam powered vehicles. Have enjoyed their enthusiasm and the four episodes

Lot of skipping between places in the last one presumably not by steam power. The last one ended at Grosmont and they then started this one 7 miles away in Whitby. Jumped from 8 miles from Durham to Beamish them 4 miles to the Tanfiefld Railway which they then left not at its most northerly station to somehow find themselves on the River Tyne and then a steam car.

2 of them are old men, one can't dance and the other didn't have his Tardis so I'll let them off!

That Beamish Museum seems very interesting, going to have to get up there for a visit.

In the ongoing but ultimately futile attempt to watch everything recorded on the sky box and not delete it (at least not my stuff), I finally binged Domina, which I thoroughly enjoyed, didn’t pick the phone up at all!

If going by public transport there is a hourly bus from Durham train station at 39 mins past the hour on Saturdays and showing the bus ticket gets 25% off an unlimited pass at Beamish https://www.gonortheast.co.uk/beamish/

I'm really enjoying (if that's the right word) The Steeltown Murders on BBC. Based on a true story so I'm really hopeful the culprit gets caught.

On Sky Documentries The Man Who Played With Fire, About the assassination of of Swedish PM Olof Palme, picks up on investigations first carried out by journalist and author Stieg Larsson, very good and doesn’t end up where you think it would.
