I'm halfway through Dahmer, and I have to say I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

I'm a couple of episodes in and am currently undecided. I remember being fascinated by it as it unfolded on the news while I was on a childhood holiday in Germany, but am not sure I appreciate a dramatisation or see this as legitimate / constructive rather than simply trivialising it in pursuit of profit.

Certainly makes for very uncomfortable viewing given how utterly horrific the subject matter is.

Just rediscovered a show called "Perception" on Disney .Eric McCormack out of will and grace playing a professor of psychology with schizophrenic tendencies solving crime

The new Great Expectations is verrry good (even though the Gillian Anderson one only seems like last week!)

And new series of Astrid - yay. with Parisian Yakuza for this week's (somewhat irrelevant) crime .

Apparently GA's version was
11 years ago - then again The Wrong Trousers was amazingly made 30 years ago so I just don't understand time these days.

My Daughter introduced us to Ghosts at the weekend - we never would have tried it otherwise. Very funny - if you've seen Horrible Histories, the concept will be familiar

There's also a US version on the iPlayer. I prefer the British one but you get a lot more episodes from the Americans.

We're nearly 2 seasons into a Sky series called Manifest. It's all a little bit Lost and I fear that it may end up going the same way - there are 4 seasons available right now but the family enjoy it so we're pushing on.

Magpie Murders (iplayer)

Great adaptation of the book of the same name by Anthony Harrowitz, it was a step above some other mystery series I've watched recently. It's got a great story in a story premise and is well acted and filmed.
