We're spoilt today though ay we? I've never really liked TV that much apart from the occasional good programme from the past, but im a sucker for a good Documentary, Film or Comedy and my other half likes Crime. Well, TV Crime anyway. Soap Opera's have us both snoring in minutes. Today, you can find something you want to watch, when you want to watch it. Even Youtube has some amateurs giving it a good go. People like Mark Felton Productions (a historian), who specialises in obscure war facts and stories. https://www.youtube.com/@MarkFeltonProductions/featured

It was the WWE Royal Rumble on Saturday, I didn't watch the whole event just the rumble itself.

I know it's scripted but this year's event seemed even more contrived than normal. There seemed to be a lot of piped in (fake) crowd noise, especially for the countdown chant itself. There weren't any real big surprise entries which was disappointing and though the story of Gunther going the distance (but not winning) was good it wasn't enough to save the match for me.

That's weird. I've been ill today and watched the royal rumble from 2008. Must be a YouTube algorithm thing. I must say though, the Americans do it much better than we did, if you compare it to British wrestling of the 70s and 80s

Mark Felton is a pro , he used to make documentaries for TV and has written a good few books.

RR is probably the one show I still look forward to, though this year's event was very bad I felt.

I watched Gold, realised my first car was a Y reg, and feel old

The Gold was good :okay:

Lockwood and Co on Netflix. Really enjoying it. Based on a series of books - the show is written by Joe Cornish - good fun so far.

I watched The Consultant on Amazon yesterday. 30 minute episodes were easy to fit in.
Watched Better last week on iPlayer, worth a watch too

Yes I enjoyed Better too. And 5 episodes. A case of them just filming the story rather than having to fill 8 weeks of TV space.
