Enjoyed it, but being the worlds oldest fighter pilot was stretching reality a bit too far, going by a guesstimate Maverick would have been about 63 to 65 years old in this one

"Sisyphus" - a Korean time travel sci fi series

Story concerns a young tech genius who is the key figure in his successful high tech company doing unspecified quantum stuff. Then at a big conference various strange people variously try and kill him or help him escape. Narrative jumps around between the present and a post apocalyptic future. It seems he is going to invent a time machine and various factions from the future are trying to stop him, help him, and / or get hold of his design.

We're about half way through now and it is really good. Some episodes are action oriented (plausibly realistic) and others are contemplation of regret, duty, and so on. A particular strength is that all the various players seemingly have their own challenges and (as yet unclear) motivations / duties rather than being cardboard villains.

Recommended !

I like the sound of this, will give it a watch 👍

The Two Geordies have been utterly puerile ever since they hit the TV screen - beyond me how anyone finds them remotely amusing or entertaining.

McIntyre is one unfunny man - just a gobby 'comic' that really loves himself. By sheer chance, in someone else's house, I recently endured a show of his - utter tosh; it was the one where he was 'interviewing' the pretentious Ramseys in bed. Garbage.

It's very rare that we actually watch live TV. With so many iplayers for all of the channels it's quicker to choose to watch what you want rather than rely on the schedule.
