It appear to be the whole series is a long and drawn out set up for Tommy's whatever the phrase is moment.

Personally I'd like more Alfie Solomon with gems like "if this is Hell, it looks a lot like f@@king Margate"

Peaky Blinders,. Very disappointed so far with series 6. Episodes.3 and 4 have been slow and turgid.

I have the same thoughts on Peaky Blinders. I'm not sure if I'll even bother with the rest of the series!

Me three, watched the first 2 episodes & not sure I can be bothered to watch the rest, the writer(s) have run out of plot

Was really looking forward to this but after the first two I decided I CBA to watch any more - very slow storyline and even the usually very enjoyable music frazzled me.

A big thumbs down here.

I was disappointed compared to earlier series

I've got to E3 and it seems good so far - I am now hoping it doesn't go downhill. 🙂

Been stuck indoors for the last week due to Covid so have watched a fair old bit of telly.

Finished The Sopranos (again).

Watched all 6 episodes of 'Alias Grace' on Netflix - not my usual type of show - a period drama about an Irish immigrant murderess in 1840s Canada, based on a Margaret Atwood novel. Slow-moving at times, but I thought it was really good, and the lead actress was excellent.

Now onto series 3 of Top Boy (series 4 if you count 'Top Boy: Summerhouse', which you should). Love this fictional drama about London drug dealers their families, friends and associates. Riveting stuff.

Liked the original so I'll stick with it....watched Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy the other week which I love. Now that is a great remake.I allways think Mark Strong is such a underated actor.
Wrong thread I know but it was on TV 😁

It was pretty brave to re-make one of the best ever TV series, starring Alec Guinness no less,
in perhaps his greatest performance. I was expecting disappointment, but I was enthralled by the film too. I think Gary Oldman is the Alec Guinness of the modern era and everything I've seen him in, he's totally different (and superb!) - from George Smiley to the crazy villain in Fifth Element and everything in between.
