Wolf Like Me (Prime): Started watching for a laugh to see what it's like. Actually quite good. It's got an air of Buffy the Vampire Slayer to it, but deals with some quite grown up themes

I noticed last night that Roscoe was sounding more 'southern' than in previous episodes, the odd word being decidedly twangy. Perhaps the accent got stronger the more the actress got into the role! Tbh, some of time, I can't really hear what she's saying.
I always have subtitles on. Helps of people talk to you when a show is on too.

It's probably for another thread but I often struggle to hear dialogue in films/tv. Turning the volume doesn't make it easier, just louder. It's a common enough complaint, I know, and there are a number of factors involved. Films, I can kind of understand the reasons for more easily - the sound being designed for movie theatres etc - but tv? It can't be as simple as actors mumbling/slurring!

The one I don't understand is when the music is so loud as to drowned out the dialogue, okay my hearing is pants but I often miss things because of this.

Rock Till We Drop. Martin Kemp and Lady Leshurr are putting together two bands of pensioners to perform at the Isle of Wight festival. They should have just seen if the Stones and Who were available. They're all pushing 80 by now.
