Don't tease me ... is there really a new series??
(I though wassername was good in the excellent "Screws" - I hope she's either still in 'Girls, or they have a suitable replacement.)
There is. Coming this month I think ?
Yes I need to watch the rest of Screws too.

Rewatching Derry Girls in preparation for the next series. So funny and the music of the 80s was the best.
Where is this being shown?

I'm watching Toast of Tinsletown again.

The original Toast was brilliant but this one isn't quite on the same level, it has it's utterly bonkers moments though that still make it watchable.

Fair play to Matt Berry for trying something different and not playing it safe by sticking to the same old formula.

Yes not quite as good as the London ones but still hilarious.

I'm liking this.

have persisted with Peaky blinders, being heavily invested in past series, Ep 5 was better than 3 & 4.
TBF they couldn't have been worse surely

Not really. I thought it had lost the plot when the Russians made an appearance but have kept going. With only one episode remaining I'll see it out.

Part of the issue for me is that it's just trying to do far, far too much. Focussing on the tight knit community feel was great, but the scope is ridiculous now so that's been lost.

The Expanse - hard sci-fi, with action, politics, religion and some entertaining characters. Similar maybe to Battlestar Galactica (which I never really liked). Not bad at all, especially reluctant detective character. 4/5
I’ve enjoyed this following recommendations here. Following 2st season I found the silliness comes and goes and is balanced by SPACESHIPS and GUNS etc. etc. (I am a 12 year old boy after all). Currently on Season 3.

Another thumbs down for the last Peaky Blinders series - did 2 or 3 episodes (can't remember which but it involved lots of wandering about in some mountains) and really cba to waste any more of my life on it.

An unworthy tribute to the late, great Helen McCrory. ☹️

Currently binge-watching Last Kingdom which has also run out of steam.

Uhtred is showing signs of RSI to his larynx with his getting worse by the hour mock Danish accent.

Mrs SD still has the hots for him though. ✋

Looking forward to S2 The Split on BBC next week.

Hope they dump all episodes straight onto iPlayer.
