Trying to watch Holding as I type. Not gripping me, seems to be written by someone who wanted to be Spike Milligan

Disappointed in S4 Drive to Survive, seems to be more aimed at the US faction where they repeat the same information, repeat the same information, over & over again.

That annoys the feck out of me!

This is what you've already seen. This is what you're going to see later. This is coming up next, after we've told you what you saw just before we decided to tell you what you've already seen... :cursing:

I'm sure if they took all that out, it'd be a ten minute 'look at life' type doc and not an hour long

It's tolerable....it's rare I stick with ITV dramas nowadays so it must be ok
[Ipcress File]
High praise indeed :P

Ep1 was very good - despite my low expectations! Love a bit of Cold War Noir, let's see how it develops.

In contrast ...
Watched one of the Christmas Worzel Gummidge mini-series - the one with the Cornish Choughs. Perfect Sunday teatime telly

Liked the original so I'll stick with it....watched Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy the other week which I love. Now that is a great remake.I allways think Mark Strong is such a underated actor.
Wrong thread I know but it was on TV 😁

thoroughly enjoying this too... i must've misread the synopsis as I was expecting a 6 part period drama/thriller

Stumbled across some teen sci-fi series called Silverpoint; set in a summer camp where there's weird sh!t going on outside the perimiter fence. Only two episodes in but it's cracking so far.

One of my torrent sites has recently had a host of 70s kids Tv uploaded to it; Vision On, Take Hart, Think of a Number, Get it Together, and Screentest...

...after watching one episode with Michael Rodd presenting, I'm sure I've found the inspiration for Alan Partridge :okay:

I have the same thoughts on Peaky Blinders. I'm not sure if I'll even bother with the rest of the series!
