282 mph. Not bad, considering ones riding a chopper, wheelieing, and giving a backie to a female hitch hiker show a using my love lolly as a grab handle.

This thread hasn't been done before

This is a forum on the internet, questions inevitably come up again. Many people see this is a negative for some reason.

Anyway my fastest speed on a road bike was 50mph on a seriously steep downhill. Only done it twice but speed feels really good! I think its better that I not disclose how fast I have been on a bike with an engine.

According to my eTrex 30… 74kph descending the Cairn O'Mount North face, previously c.85kph Berrydale Brae Northwards. Its good to watch your front tyre change shape as you go faster owing to centripetal force.

According to Strava I went at 43.6mph freewheeling down the driveway of Hoghton Tower. Wouldn't be surprised if it was accurate coming down there either. It's quite a big driveway.

I have only been riding for a couple of months and I really enjoy it.I don't really do long rides just 8-12miles at the fastest I can push myself.I use Strava to record my rides and my top speed I have recorded is 34 mph down hill,a friend told me he has recorded 45 mph!!

What is your fastest speed?
95 MPH.Oops thought I was on the motor cycle chat.
