DCLane

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
I've picked up a couple of Conti GP5000 ST R tyres - the quick ones - from cheeky offers on a 'buy now' listing.

Also a pair of carbon Zipp TT ski's which I'll do something with.

And a bottle cage plus bottle tool kit as I lost the lid off mine.

Bought a second hand set of wheels off facefluff for the commuter to see if it is the back wheel that is the issue , bloke selling them knew what he was talking about and as he was coming close to my area today anyway he offered to drop them off .
£40 so worth a punt as the lbs said as my wheel is a cheap one anyway it probably wouldnt have a hub they would stock so at worst i eliminate the wheels from the hunt for the creak and i have a spare set

A new workshop chain tool after realising I was regularly using my little Park Tools one because my cheap workshop one was worse than useless - it made me feel incompetent.

I went for a Top Peak All Stars one which is reassuringly solid.

Just bought spares of both lock-on and Old School flanged / push-on Skyway grips. These are my absolute favourites. And I have these on all 5 of my bikes. These are modern repops of the original 80’s (?) designs - and I’m not sure how long they are going to be available for - so took advantage while I’m feeling flush…..**£15 for lock-on and £10 for push on with Free post from Hopkins Cycles [Who are always absolutely excellent btw 🙏👌😉]

Tyres on the RTD are starting to get a little old - they've been on the rims for more than 2 years now and the sidewalls are starting to crack a little. As they are running tubeless I've not actually had a puncture that I've noted with them which is great and the tread looks to be in good condition but I decided to order some new tyres just in case. Ordered a set of Vittoria Corsa Pro TLRs from the LBS and pick them up tomorrow along with some new sealant.

Also ordered a new bike stand after the clamp fell off the old one. Opted for an on-offer cheapish job from Amazon which had pretty good reviews. I'll give the bike a good clean when I've got the wheels off so it'll come in handy then.
