Not quite a concert as such, but Pam Ayres in Chester tonight. She had a band with her singing songs, though.

Left at the first break. Bloody awful.

Not last night but Friday saw the 'Dirt Road Band' down at The Musician', Steve was superb as usual and him doing a couple of Rory Gallagher songs meant Maz was happy.

Looked them up, he was the longest serving guitarist with Dr Feelgood, no less, so quite a pedigree.

My brother went to see 'Dr Feelgood' a few years back in Reading, with none of the original lineup.
He walked out long before the gig ended, said it was a total letdown.

Would love to have seen them back in the Wilko days.

Last Saturday I saw John Bramwell do a solo show at he Barrel House in Totnes which was excellent.

Last night I saw him in Bristol with his band The Full Harmonic Convergence.
He has as part of the band a young lady called Harriet Bradshaw who plays cello. Her contribution is the glue that binds it all together and adds sparkle.

I’ve seen him many times and he seems to get better every time.

Steve parted company with them a few years back but at least he was with them whilst Lee was still alive. To see Steve when younger (pre-feelgood) there are 2 clips of 'Steve Marriott with the DT's' on youtube.

I think all of the present band, apart from the singer joined Dr Feelgood before Lee died

Nice vintage clips. Did you manage to see the Hamsters back in the day?

Yep a couple of times, The DT's were a kind of 'local' band and played at 'the Princess Charlotte' about every month. I was there when Steve Marriott played his first gig with them though (totally unannounced) there was a guitar leant against an amp at the side and after 4-5 numbers this little chubby guy in dungarees wandered out, picked up the guitar and shouted "Awright"
