I went with some work colleagues to see JB in Manchester just before Covid hit, and completely concur - he was bloody brilliant.James Blunt at the Royal Albert Hall, Tuesday night.
It does seem a few people don't like him/say his music is miserable (something he makes light of himself) but honestly, he was absolutely staggeringly good. Even my good lady wife (who struggled to remember pretty much anything he'd sung) was blown away by the gig. Struck lucky with tickets (5 rows from the front) and we had not been to the RAH before, which actually made it better for us in a way, because it's such a stunning place.
Another colleague of mine saw Bryan Adams in Sheffield last night and she sent me a few video clips this morning. He’s still got a great singing voice and stage presence. 👍
