A bit late but we went to see Johnny Lee Memphis aka Elvis tribute act on Saturday night . It was an absolute blast , he wasn’t a bad singer either . Top 10 judged in the world as an Elvis act apparently. Audience shouting and he was giving it back with the one liners had us in stitches !
He is playing at the Armidillo in the Weeg in January , with a 30 piece orchestra!

The Darkness in Munich ………weekend before last.
Justin Hawkins was brilliantly entertaining.
Pure enjoyment.

I've just come back from a Bowie Night. Half the audience were middle-aged transvestites. It was definitely a case of 'not knowing if you are a boy or a girl.'

ABC in Liverpool last night. Absolutely brilliant, the Southbank Sinfonia orchestra backing them up was the icing on the cake. Martin Fry hasn't lost it at all, could have been listening to an album. Very impressed.

Not sure if this counts as a gig, but went to the musical about Band/Live Aid last week. The songs from Wembley were woven into the story about Bob Geldof and setting the whole thing up.

Last week not last night, to see The Hives. As expected, they were very noisy, and it was a lot of fun. 11/10 for the amount of effort they put in for a relatively small crowd, and Howlin' Pelle Almqvist's ability to work the crowd.
