What film did you watch last night?

Last night i watched Phantasm 4 Oblivion,like i said earlier i have nothing but good things about these movies,though it is the weakest of the franchise.

Also watched Gran Torino,a good film but somewhat lacking i found.I much prefer the grittier and edgier Harry Brown.

It's movies for drunk people.

Seriously, I had a skinful once and as I was wandering home decided to watch Godzilla (90s version). I was raving about it the next day

That'll be because, drunk or not, it's a great film... it doesn't have the horrendous shrieking Godzilla of the originals. I love the way everything starts to bounce before the monster is revealed... the love aspect of the movie isn't dwelt upon too much... it's got Jean Reno in it, the bass player from Spinal Tap and the Headmaster out of The Simpsons... and they even drive a taxi out of the monster's mouth... the US Army trash more of NYC than the monster does, and it turns into an Aliens pastiche towards the end.... great fun, start to finish.

don't regret watching it and when you consider he was once Hollywood’s default rom com leading man the transformation and performance is amazing.

For me he proved he could act in Killer Joe.

Felt compelled to watch "The Longest Day" yet again. Still a great watch. Still can't understand why anyone has ever rated John Wayne though.
