We watched Young Frankenstein. Like much of Brooks's output it's extremely well crafted cinematographically, combined with low-brow humour and cheap jokes. Great cast including his regular cast Gene Wilder and Madelaine Kahn, along with the great Ron Moody, and a young Terri Garr as straight-man so to speak. Smiles and giggles rather than laugh out loud, but joyful entertainment and very much a superior film .

I dunno, the theater in which I saw it when this movie came out erupted in laughter at "Puttin' on the Ritz".

Ah yes, we were proper laughing at that - utterly surreal and bonkers.
"magnificent knockers" had me giggling during the set up long before the lines was deliverd

Although one of his weaker films, but still entertaining, the 2001 parody at the start of "history of the world" is perhaps the most inappropriate scene he;s done. I was paralysed with laughter at that one.

Just came back from cinema. We took the granddaughters (4 tomorrow & 6) to see "Postman Pat". Cracking film. You need to take a little one though to avoid looking a bit sad.
