Homefront.

Very little in the way of discernible plot. However lots of actions, with the Stafe merrily slapping anyone that takes umbrage at his fake American accent. Quite good for the action, but not a lot else.

Not a film but an excellent serial... "Queen's Gambit". Loved it but felt tense that something awful was about to happen any minute.

I'm going to leave off scoring this for now, because I'm still trying to get my head around it. It's a thing of beauty, and brilliantly acted - I particularly enjoyed Branagh's unhinged villain - but I thought the whole thing didn't quite click, in the way his previous time/reality bending films have.

I watched that a few weeks back. It was the worst film I've seen for a long time... can't remember what score i gave it but it was low.

Last night i watched Wonder Woman 1984... jesus wept! People actually got paid for this stonking turd of a movie?? It gets a well earned -2/10.

I bailed out after 45 tortuous minutes. I plan to return and have a drink each time I recognise a bit of another film that has been patchworked into this hideous mess.
