Sherlock Holmes. Game of Shadows. Didn’t make it to the end. 2/10.

Typical violent Jason Statham action thriller.

Except it's not typical. While Stafe plays his standard issue husky hard man, there are some other good actors. Chuck in a surprisingly decent plot and a fantastic ending, and you're left with an atypical Stafe movie. Well worth a watch.

7.5/10.

As long as I breathe, I attack.
Finally got around to seeing justice league, you could tell a lot of editing had gone on to make it under 2 hours whilst still leaving in what i call the fluffy music bits .
Worth a watch if your into your super hero movies .

Hard Target.
Jean Claude Van Damme doing what he does. John Woo making sure he's looking moody, with everyone doing long lingering slomo gazes.
Of course there's the doves and the flying through the air while firing guns. You can't have a Woo movie without that written in.
Finished doing my physio exercises and went to bed before it finished.

3/10 because it distracted me from doing a load of leg raises, squats and icing.

Lone Survivor. Mark Wahlberg takes the lead role in a team of US Navy Seals. Their Afghanistan mission is compromised and they have to escape a hostile enemy across mountainous terrain. All but one survive. Based, as they say, on a true story.

Marcus Luttrell, the SEAL who Wahlberg portrays gets a couple of cameo roles.

Black Mirror ( Netflix )

Only watched the first 3 episodes in the first series. Not what I was expecting but still very entertaining viewing, especially Episode 1, oink oink .

I thought this was a very mismatched film, a very jerky delivery in terms of story. I read this morning that Warner Bros we’re blaming the marketing for the low box office returns. Apparently making the decision to cut Superman from the posters lost them sales. Personally I think it was more the negative reviews the film’s got from release date onwards.

Plus I’m not keen with Affleck as Batman. The other actors did well with their roles I thought.

Keaton and Bale did well as Batman in their films.

The Man Who Wasn't There (2001).

I'd seen this movie years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it... but it's one of those films that i remembered being a bit different to how it is. I had no recollection of...
him getting done for Big Dave's crime ...i thought he'd just got away with everything.
I think i prefer my imaginary ending.

Jackie Chan versus the IRA ...yes you read right

passable revenge movie

7/10
I'm not really a Jackie Chan fan but this synopsis had me intrigued.

As a, 'mild mannered guy turns out to be ex special forces when someone kills a family member,' type of film it's one of the better ones.

7/10.
